Leadership/Management Team

Jennifer Seehra
Executive Director
Jennifer Seehra brings two decades of experience and leadership in senior services to Caring Friends Home Care. A commitment to making a difference in people’s lives has been the consistent thread in her personal and professional lives.

Seehra has served older adults in both the US and Canada in various management positions. Most recently, she led a multisite team for VitalAire, a home health care company in Toronto, Ontario, providing superior service to patients who suffered from chronic lung conditions coupled with complex comorbidities. Previously, Seehra drove operational and financial success as General Manager for Chartwell Retirement Residences. Her commitment to customer service excellence began along with her career as an Executive Director at Sunrise Senior Living.

Seehra says she was eager to join Caring Friends Home Care because the organization’s values align with hers. The home care agency was originally founded by the Society of Friends, commonly known as Quakers. Caring Friends’ culture emphasizes inclusion, acceptance and servant-leadership.

“Whether it be my staff, our clients or their family members, it is when I am helping others that I am the happiest,” says Seehra. “I believe that our front-line staff – our Caregivers – are our most important assets. The more we support and care for our Caregivers, the better care they can provide to our clients.”

A graduate of Mount St. Mary’s University, Seehra returned to her “hometown” Philadelphia-area in 2018 to help care for her own aging parents.

Sandra Grant, BA
Home Care Coordinator

Sandra Grant leverages nearly 15 years of experience in nursing home and private home care to ensure client satisfaction. Previously, she held management positions at Bryn Mawr Terrace and Senior Helpers, both on Philadelphia’s Main Line. Her expertise includes professional staffing, customer relations, payroll processing, staff supervision and general oversight of case management.

Sandra combines her business acumen, mentoring and supervisory experience, and her outstanding interpersonal skills in her current position overseeing Caring Friends Home Care services. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration from Manchester Business School in Jamaica.
