Elderlaw Answers provides legal information and resources useful to older adults, including specifics about social security, Medicare and Medicaid, estate planning and other matters. Elderlaw Answers does not provide legal advice, but can help you locate a qualified elder care attorney near you.
Eldercare Locator is a public service of the U.S. Administration on Aging. The site provides information about agencies in every community that can help older adults and their families access home and community-based services, such as transportation, meals and caregiver support services.
Friends Life Care
Friends Life Care provides an affordable alternative or supplement to long-term care insurance and continuing care retirement communities. The Friends Life Care plan covers comprehensive care management, home care and related support services, and vitality improvement programs. Membership is available to qualified individuals aged 40 to 81 who enjoy reasonably good health and live independently. Friends Life Care and Intervention Associates are nonprofit Quaker-based subsidiaries of Friends Life Care System.
HealthCare.gov acts as the official government clearinghouse for information on health insurance and the health care reform act passed in March 2010. It is the first site to provide data in one place on both private and public insurance options across the nation.
